4 Choose how you will connect SSH keys are recommended. You can explicitly enable a VM password instead, or use both.

No public address or inbound access is included. Requires your private network connection.

Saved SSH key Choose a saved key, or paste a public key below. Paste an SSH public key A pasted key is used instead of the saved selection. Never paste a private key.

Allow root loginOff by default: use the scaletoad account with sudo. Enable this to log in directly as root using your chosen login methods. Explicitly allow password login to this VMOff by default. A public SSH endpoint can receive password guesses; use a long, unique VM password, never your ScaleToad account password.
